The traditional meat is so tasty here in Spain that I don't know anyone being vegetarian.
What is "Traditional meat"?
It would seem unlikely that a pig raised in Spain has a different taste of meat than a pig raised in Germany (unless the Spanish have a different way of raising them that somehow defies copying by others). If you meant to say that the meat is cooked differently in Spain, then why do all others insist on using their own methods of preparation, knowing that the Spanish way of doing this is vastly superior?

All of these are made from pig and share a very similar process to be cured. They aren't cooked or roasted, but salted during a period of time of months or even several years in certain conditions of humidity, temperature, etc... difficult to artificially emulate because the conditions, apart from the close enviroment, also change with Spanish weather.
It's a fucking old process, which dates back of paleolithic times when it was made in caves.

This share almost the same process but with certain variations like smoke and can be made from cow, deer, pig, horse and many others.
-Morcilla:
This is cooked blood from pig, plus rice or onions.
But the process it's as important as the pig's race and diet:
This is the "Spanish" pig (cerdo ibérico), they are probably Phoenician pigs mixed with wild boars. The main difference is the taste and that it contains much less saturated fat and cholesterol, instead it contains monounsaturated fat because of their diet (acorn and wild herbs) and the fact they spend much of their lives in open field:
That's why it's so different to other countries. Here there are "common pigs" too (it's cheaper) and all the above products are also made from common pigs, but they are only eaten by people who want to save money on food because they taste far worse.
I don't know a single person fat or with high cholesterol level that eat Spanish pig, but lots of people who eat common pig are both.

It isn't only is tasteless, is that it tastes BAD and is less healthier.
And yeah, because of the industrialization of food, most people buy common pig but then they spend 1 hour at day in the gym or become bitter trying to go on crashing yo-yo diets.

Well I just upgraded my strength training routine. It is only done with regular weights so no bogus apparatus is needed from the gym. I have 8 exercises and I split them up to do 2 every 1 or 2 days. So only 5 minutes is needed to complete them.
It's special workout partly borrowed from somewhere and part invented by me. You do the repetitions as slow as possible in the beginning and then when you feel you can't continue you go as fast as possible until the muscle finally fails completely. I find that this going as fast as possible also trains your heart.
You feel pretty sore after doing them so maybe this workout will actually work and I'll end up like those guys on the internet who sell their workouts in books for 100$ a piece.
I know that you gays aren't likely to be interested in this stuff either, but I got bored and there's nothing new to read in this forum.

OK, I can understand that. What I do not understand is how this would then support the assertion that in Spain no one wants to become a vegetarian because of the high quality of traditional meat. The majority of people do not eat this quality meat, just like in most other European countries, so why would the number of vegetarians be less in Spain than in, say, Germany?

Maybe you misinterpreted my question? The question is why Southern and Eastern Europeans (Spaniards, in this case) become vegetarians less often than Northern and Western Europeans. Your comment does not answer that.
Puk already pointed out that Spaniards may have higher standards as to their food; I see what he means, and he may have a point, but if the Spaniards in majority also eat industrialized meat, then this does not seem a complete answer either. And even if it were, this could apply to Southern Europeans, but it wouldn't seem applicable to Eastern Europeans.
Maybe it is a cultural matter? Southern and Eastern Europeans may simply be more conservative than Western and Northern Europeans and less willing to adapt if their lifestyle appears undesirable or unsustainable in the long run.

As we are acting like monsters towards animals so are others acting like total idiots against us. By education I don't mean how many years of slavery you have in school. I mean something else entirely. As you can see, you can be a drunk porn addict (sorry, puk) and still get PhDs, that's how fucked up the education system is.

I would think one can be a brilliant scientific mind AND a drunk porn addict. The booze is likely to eat away some of the brilliance, but there may be enough left. And I do not see how being addicted to porn could affect anyone's scientific accomplishments at all.

And to be honest I don't really know what I mean by education, but certainly it can have another meaning that the regular "spend 20+ years in school".I think there could be another type of education, maybe you can educate yourself? That's where the real problem comes in. I have no problem that the education system is fucked up but you should have a CHOICE. In almost all countries it is compulsory that's why I say it's "slavery". Education should be a choice like everything else. But it's not... I appreciate that in countries like the USA there are alternatives like homeschooling but in my country, Romania, you "have" to go to school, you have to be educated, as if your a product or something and you need to be processed. It's seriously fucked up, and that's my opinion.

Surely there is an age limit to this? Over here it is up til the age of 15, if that's the same in Romania, it should not concern you any more.
And how many hours are there in a week and how many of those are you obliged to spend at school? Usually there is a great deal of time left to cater for additional 'education' of choice. So if you have parents who want to educate you themselves, they have ample opportunities, it seems.

Here we have 10 compulsory classes, and I'm at the end of the 10th. Three fucking weeks left but it's still not fair. I spent this year dragging myself to school every day... it sucked ass. I'll think about dropping out, I was thinking of a career in independent web design... I can go back to "prison" anytime though. After 18 years you can complete school without attending, and only taking exams.
