This game is less a prototype and more of a...hybrid. Eh eh, who can make puns like no other??
It's a cross between Assassin's Creed and...every super hero movie tie-in game. I'm actually surprised there is no movie coming out. The graphics and production values of it are EXACTLY like you'd expect from a movie game. Which is to say, pretty shitty BUT just enough to justify selling it.
So like in Assassin's Creed you have a free roaming city, except this time it's EVEN MORE boring and lifeless. I didn't think it was possible but they pulled it off. People KINDA look weird at you when you fall down from 30 meters and not get a scratch on but HOLY SHIT, if you punch a car then anarchy and hysteria fills their little heads.
You also have the very same looking fag with the very same looking cloak on his head. In fact, having never actually finished Assassin's Creed, i'm willing to bet that this is the sequel only played in the modern world.
And just like....that's right, assassin's creed, you forgot things and need to unlock memories.
As for the parts that don't resemble AC, you have a mix between The Hulk, with smashing and throwing of things and some Spider-Man with climbing every building in sight.
You also unlock special powers by buying them from points made by doing damage to shit, nothing special.
The story and setting are no prototype of anything, they're as standard as you can get.
This Alex Mercer fagot is having a bad case of the "some people gave me immortality and super powers but...they didn't ask me first so i'm gonna kill them all because i'm a fucking cliche" so you just kill military people and some generic mutants.
The game made sure through various SUBTLE cinematics to show the military kill innocent people for no particular reason other than to "get what's coming to them".
The story is trying really hard to not be completely boring and bland in order to kinda give you a reason to kill people but fails like Mihai fails at not being gay. Ignore the story and just go from A to B and kill everything along the way. Sometimes it tries to bullshit you with the whole “disguise” crap but you can ignore that pansie method and destroy all life in sight.
The consolization is nothing over the top. You don’t have much control over the graphics options and the mouse control is pretty bad but nothing you wouldn’t expect from games on a PC nowadays.
This game could have been better but it seems like they didn’t know in what direction they wanted to go. It’s fun for a few hours until you get tired of killing 6/10
