No man the game I played was may more ghetto than that, in fact, I think I installed it off of some floppy disks.
It was either SWAT 1, or LAPD =P
It wasn't even a first person shooter it was one of those games like Myst 1 where you move from one environment to the next, but you can't look around the room.

I know you were referring to the earlier swat game. I played the original police quest adventure games and all of the swat series.
It just reminded me of how much I liked swat 4.

Swat 3 was fucking WAY better than Swat 4, the last seeming it was released only one year later than 3 when in fact it was SIX years later.

I think it's embarassing that in a day and age of Crysis someone would have the nerve to release a sidescroller which doesn't scroll.
If this was intended for the Nintendo DS or mobile phones, then it's entirely plausible. But it's not, so it isn't
I think they did a market survey and decided that at $60, only 10 people would buy this game, so they were given a budget of $600
