Conspiracies meet some basic human needs, most particularly the need to feel in control and superior. Followers think that they can see what the mass of dumb sheep cannot see, and that this sets them apart from the mass.
Conspiracies are therefore most in vogue with people with low self-esteem and low IQs, because these people least get the feeling of being in control or superior.
The textbook conspiracy theory-follower would also be a racist, for obvious reasons.

The key to 9/11 is to look at demolitions of other buildings in which you'll see that the building falls at free fall speed as each section below is detonated, same with the WTC twins.
Also, we're supposed to believe that the weight of the "upper floors" dropped due to the supa structure melting{let's overlook that kero doesn't burn hot enough to melt steel}, so that the upper floors pushed their way DOWN....how hilarious is that, if anything, the bottom floors would have to give way first as they're carrying the most weight, plus, even if the upper floors fell, that weight was already being supported.
Obviously not all conspiracies are true or 100& accurate, but in the case of 9/11, it was quite obviously an inside job between gov, military and media.
