(User Info | Send a Message) | Haha, I came off vague when I wrote that shit a long time ago. I'll re-rate it since I've found a new liking for the game recently.
Graphics: Yes, I still hate the graphics of the game, they are still clunky to me, still a shit fest, decent is what I said before, decent is what I'll stick with because It's a PS2 game.
Controls: Still what I believe to be 'repedative' as I typed it, I was really hoping for some new ones when I picked up DMC3, but the only real new thing was the fact you can do more combos by holding L1.
VOs: Hate them, simple. Hate them, wish they would die.
Gameplay: Vergil's gameplay is probably better put then Dante's, or it might be my bias that I like Vergil better. Vergil takes skill to use, Dante is more of a bash n' slash character, Vergil you need to have swift reflexes to use some of his attacks.
Game Levels: When I said hard, I wasn't quoting myself indirect, I was quoting half the population who was used to how easy the first two DMC's were. I personally find it easy enough to play.
New Features: Normal: New weapons and styles. SE:Gold Mode, allows you to continue indefinitly. Vergil, and Nelo Angelo.
Story: Since no one seems to like my little bullshit story I put up because I didn't feel like going indepth with the entire 20 chapters of the game I'll restart. Dante is a fuck tard demon hunter. He's encountered by Mr. Clean and thus embarks to Vergils 'little' erected tower. He fights several beings there, including vergil a few times, Mr. Clean, Lady, A vampire lady Nevan I think her name is, A harry Potter remix dog, a retarded Angel thingey, and so on. It seems Mr. Clean wants Sparda's power and he's using Vergil to get it, in the end he turns into a peice of shit and is cut straight through by Dante and Vergy, who thus beat the shit out of eachother and Vergil falls off the tower and is lost in the demon world. Dante names his shop, and Mary 'lady' leaves... I'm going to ruin it now, Vergil is then turned into a bitch by Mundus.
