I don't like how there are OSRS GP gnomes in this game, that makes no sense because they aren't sailors, but I do like the idea. Officially, trade between the new continent's and the rest of the globe is managed by customs authorities which tax a lot and make it difficult etc. People are resorting to illegal smugglers, pirates as well as others to trade with them due to their displeasure with the customs authorities. Quests could explore the conflict between these two powerhouses and you could choose to support either. Colonial Boston is the closest to the real world.

Runescape is currently composed of a part of the medieval Europe and the region to the east. For example, Fremmeniks-Scandanavia, Karamja-Sub-Saharan Africa, Asgarnia/Misthalin/Kandarin-England, Morytania-Eastern Europe, Al Kharid-Arabia.

That really only leaves Mediterranean/Southern Europe, so it would be logical for the new continent to resemble Italy/Spain/Greece. This could be a result of iron age concepts. It is possible to create two cities that look like Rome and Carthage, for example. (Carthage is not a city that uses elephants).

Although they aren't in conflict, the two sides are engaged in an escalating conflict. The road connecting the two cities is heavily guarded. If you travel there, you may be attacked with tough foes. A city may be "good" and another might be "bad". You can be able to complete quests where your character fights for either city or both.

The north of these rs gold 2007 two cities lies a more mountainous, colder, and more humid area. The people living there look a lot like Celts and are considered to be savages by the southerners. They look a lot like Fremenniks. But they are hunter-gatherers who live in smaller settlements. Also, they have a dispute with the two cities that lie to their south that are trying to expand in their territory. This could be a perfect place to host raiding dungeons should Jagex wants to do so.
