I encountered with this game unintentionally, and it picked my interest so I watched some gameplay footage and red some skill descriptions and basically it left me with an impression that it will suck big time.

I played a lots of D2 back in the day, The first few years of the new millena was all about Baldur's Gate 2 and Diablo 2 for me. I didn't need anything else. One rpg for the story, and one for the action.
But this Diablo 3 looks nothing like the previous title. It' WoW from above. It's way too colorful, I've seen Monks wearing baby blue, and Witch Doctors all in pretty pink. And The classes and skills... The Shaman.. I mean WD poops locust swarms or unleashes a fearful pack of FROGS that burps up poisinous clouds. WTF? How can that be of an use in pvp? And it's not like you can develop one like in D2, you pick a skill and that's it. Just like in Wow. Oh, did I mention that there are cooldowns to almost every skill?
And the whole gameplay seems sloooowww next to D2, enemies are slow, projectiles are slow, your character is slow. And the animations are so shitty, it's an atrocity. Your goon runs like a mixture of hurdler and ballet dancer. It almost does a forward split on every step. And in a way that he spends way too much in the air while moving with the same speed, it's like he's riding an invisible bike. Especially the Monk and the Demon Hunter. And their hands barely moving (their shoulders doesn't move at all), while their elbows are strictly close to their torso, basically they run like a T1000 from the ministry of silly walks. And I was hoping that by now after 2010 some game developers actually make animations for when your character stops running or quickly changes a direction but thats still none to be found in any game. Except the original Prince of Persia. A game made in 89' maybe.
Basically, I don't know if the game will be fun at all, there's so much shit in it already , and if i'm gonna see all those names looking like license plates (F8R4EVA and such) or the 5252th Monk named Goku93, or a Demon Hunter called XxAlucardxX... a question will overwhelm my mind saying WTF I'm doing here? And I'm sure I won't be the only one.

Just red that Blizzard will release Diablo 3 onto the consoles as well... way to go. Oh well. That explains a few things like the shitty graphics, slow gameplay and the delay of releasing. Of course they have to release it simultaneously to all platforms at once and currently there are THREE whole people working on importing it to consloes. So I guess that'll take some time. Anyway, this is a worst omen.
