I jumped at about 3 points in the game.... and they werent even scripted, only palces I didnt expect to se a monster.

Its a corridor shooter with good graphics and it never tryed to present itself as anythimg more. The website says things like "fight your way to hell and back" and you balme them becasue you expected chess master? Did you even play doom 1 and 2 ?

See above. Dont buy a corridor shooter if you dont want to play a corridor shooter.
"Doom 3 offers little challenge."
Turn the difficulty up.
"Doom 3 has pretty graphics."
Its a nice engine with a very good unified lighting engine and a nice mod development package.
"Only idiots (see this reviewer) could love such an average game."

Doom 3 was not the best game EVER, but its a hell of a lot better then the crap thats been released in 2004. |
