If I get bored I'll bored I'll download this to try the shotgun. I still think a company that knows how to make quality games like valve or rockstar should have made doom3 from the start. Valve probably wouldn't cause their shit's original, but having id do it was fucking stupid. The graphics are pretty good and work well for the game, but the code isn't optimized for performance and the gameplay doesn't have that ball grabber effect like HL2. You can't do much about that enemy spawn stuff. Doom3 was meant to be old fashioned and have enemy's come out of walls, which makes the game fun. These guys have no imagination or creativity with their storyline though.
If you got fucked over cause you have an ATI card, there's that graphical tweak which vastly increases performance by using a better calculation method on ATI cards.
