Damn! Can we not go back to the good ol' days when games where made for pc's...and then later adapted to play on a console, if so desired by console users?
Guess not. Not yet, anyway. Though there is a market for it. I mean shit, I can go into Barnes and Noble and get a magazine on any topic I want! RC cars, airplanes, rap music, rock music, housekeeping, playboy etc.. I can go into a porn shop and get a mag thats all about fat bitches, or black bitches, or even bitches that are black AND fat... I can go into Starbucks and order 25 different kinds of coffee drinks, though Ive only had about 5. If I want to buy a dog there are hundreds of breeds, and people are still breeding all of them. If i want custom wheels for my car there are a hundred companies each with a shit ton of wheels to choose from- even ugly ones that are 13 inchers, Im sure by now you get my point...so why then, with all of the programmers, game designers, people on the web, advertising, etc is it so few and far between that we get to play a game that will immerse us? let us jump and crouch and get prone? be a challenge? give us all the options in the menu? Is there not a game that will let me load and save when and where i want, so i dont have to play the same shit over and over and over 20 effin times until i get it right RIGHT before i get to the checkpoint there is something difficult and i die..and then i have to replay the part that i always get through, just to get to the hard part again--and die..and then have to do it again..fuck
I think it would be cool if the original dues ex was remade in the fashion of black mesa. I dont know if youve heard of black mesa but its a free mod or redo (that hasnt been released yet btw) of the original half-life. I cant wait to play this fucking game! and it will be free!! (if its ever released). But it would be cool if someone were to do this to Deus Ex (in a shorter length of time though) Actually, if its good and done right it will be worth the wait...just not 5 years like black mesa. or is it 7? anyways Awesome Review!
