Actually, the game does suck, and suck bad. But not for the reasons listed above. I can't speak for the single player experience because I seldom play them. The multi player has serious credibilty issues when it comes to logic, it's perported realism ... you take the pick. I heard this from a seasoned Raven Shield player and it pretty well sums the game up, "when a guy is standing 8 feet from you and opens up on full auto, I don't care how bad the weapon kicks, you should be dead." Unfortunately this often does not happen. Likewise there appears to be increased accuracy from peek and shoot aiming which just doesn't make much sense to me. You try that balancing act and hit something at 100 yards lol. But maybe that's just me. Anyway it is just a game ... a lame one.
