If anyone is running it on XP with a high end pc, it's fucking OBLIGATORY to manually change the config files to unlock the "ultra" quality, because M$ have paid Crytec to lock it for XP and force ppl to move on fucking Vista.
You must edit all .cfg CrysisGameConfigCVarGroups and replace the last paragraph with the first one. If you are too fucking lazy to do on your own, I have upload all of them already changed (but don't forget to back up them first, if a restore is needed in case Ultra is too fucking hard to your pc):
