actually, it does mean it sucks. Ask anyone who's played FPS games for more than 1.3 seconds. The guns in BF2 make the SMG from Halo2 seem accurate by comparison.
As for the guns, it's just an example that EA doesn't have a clue. There's about a million other things I could say that are wrong with the game, bug and balance-wise.
