I've played Fallout 3 for the first time and it really seems a bit unimpressive. It's not that it's bad, but it really feels like just another shooter. I didn't play Fallout 1 or 2, but I've heard from many that they're great games but this one seems average or just a bit over average. It seems a tad familiar with Oblivion, and that's another game I didn't like very much... oh well, I'm gonna keep un playing for a few more hours and give you my final opinion on the game.

It has the same gaming engine than Oblivion and you feel it unimpressive because currently isn't profitable to make videogames that exceed XBOX360 requirements (in fact this game is 360 based).
By the way, this game is one of the most bugged and broken releases ever launched:
2,281 topics and 14,517 replies in just BARELY A WEEK, about pc issues (most of them unplayable crashes).

Yep, I've played some more and the only really fun thing in this game is to pop out everyone's head. I've done the Tenpenny Tower mission, which is cool and I've popped out Tenpenny's and Mister Burke's head at the balcony and pressed the button to shred the town to bits myself. Fun!

Fallout 3 was a boring game for me, but I think it's a matter of taste. I didn't like Oblivion either.
Suislide sucks though for giving Dead Space a huge score.

FO3=the most overated game of 08.
I like VATS, but it's graphics aren't up to scratch and it's console clunky.
I also think a lot of the dialogue is cheesy.

I had to buy it because of the hype.....but it just proves to me that some people go apeshit over a game's theme, and as long as it's objective details aren't absolute crap, they'll rate and rave on about it.
