I played Mass Effect 1 and 2. Mass Effect 1 was pretty much perfect. Mass Effect 2 was a bunch of babysitting for emotionally stunted characters, but it didn't ruin the franchise enough.
I have never played Mass Effect 3 because of the whole controversy and Origin, and because I figure it probably will ruin the whole franchise. Anyone think its worth playing through?

it defo warrants a playthrough to finish off the trilogy but tbh it isn't good and was nerfed quite a lot

strange reasoning....ME3 is the final trilogy, so if you want to conclude the series one would assume to pick it up and finish it.......my only gripe was the ending. oh and also ME3 was restrictive in terms of RPG gameplay, however it was enjoyable if you are a fan of the series.

my main issue is I never installed Origin, and the cheesy end to ME2 (a human shaped reaper, really??) so I might not even bother with it.
