No....they could'nt have used nukes as people actually survived in the basement/s of some of the buildings, so nukes and basement bombs are out.
I'm trying to figure out whether the star wars energy device was used, and if so, was there any controlled demolition at all....?

There were reports such as - a person in the building fell into another person's arms, and the falling person's skin just slipped off of their frame - the catching person holding a bunch of lumpy skin, watching the innards spill out all over the floor- what a fucking mess glad I don't work there... picture that if you please heehee.
It was all controlled, and it was mostly demo. I wouldn't doubt if there was fancier shit thrown in there as well (like what your sayin).

OK, this ends the final round for the 'biggest idiot on this site'-contest. Only Pogma9 and FUCK YOU ALL had qualified for the final, after defeating Zachofat and Alez in the semi-finals. Each of the contestants had 4 posts in which to prove what they had in them. Both Pogma9 and FUCK YOU ALL showed impressive performance in this final, so this might turn out to be a close call!
