I wish I were since games back then had at least some variety not like the ones these days. Back then, we had more types of adventure games than types of games nowdays in general. There were RTS-es, point & click adventure games, TBS-es, platform games and like a million other games.
Now it's either FPS or TPS and NOTHING ELSE. Just look at the reviewed games on this site (excluding a few indie games). They are all from this two genre. And they suck.
